I feel kinda stupida asking... but for the 14 min I spent trying to figure out how to remove the plastics on my wifes phazer I couldn't...
step one, remove the sides
then what?
How do I remove the headlight pod? Are there bolts, or screws hidden?
Also the strap that holds the seat on at the front... please help #puzzled
my goal is to change the filter.

You got it, remove the headlight cover to expose the hidden screws. Look to each side of the headlight.
To remove the seat take the 2 screws on the bottom side and stand behing the sled and pull the seat back and up.

I had trouble removing the headlight cover as well. Simply tug up(hard) on the back of the cover as there are 2 plastic plugs stuck in rubber grommets holding it down. Once freed from the grommets it will slip out of the top of the headlight bracket. The rubber grommets will probably come out with the cover and will have to be put back on the sled first before putting cover back on. I was like you the first time I stripped mine down. It's like a big jigsaw puzzle.

When I'm not sure of how a piece fits or how to remove it helps to look at the parts schematic.... From the pictures you can usually see what has to be removed before you start prying / forcing and end up breaking something.
