Spring Order Sidewinder LTX-LE - 2021
Hey all, I need advice! I'm going to pre-order 2021 sidewinder LTX - LE in few days and I'm not sure if I will keep the Ripsaw II 1.25 track ...I did Read A lot about track overspin I'm not a big fan of Stud, Dealer Told me to put 96 for safety ... I don't ride ice lake, I mostly ride in My own Trail or North Quebec City, Laurentide Club Trail .. I was Looking to maybe swamp it for Storm 150 Track 2ply, what you guys think? One last thing about the front and back pumper ? are they fine to get my self unstuck or I should buy a new kit! thanks

Studs definitey add some safety, hence the reason why many women and children who ride sled have them. My sled has one stud.....me, the driver! Lol.
I hate studs and dont run them.....just my opinion.
Factory bumpers are solid and will be fine.
Storm 150 track is a great choice! Good Luck.

Ditto. I had a 2007 Apex RTX that came with them. Otherwise I've had a dozen sleds without them.
I understand the safety aspect when it's icey. But I just go slower thru the corners.
My opinion. And I know it's not a popular one. But that's me.

I don't ride without studs as I feel I can't get the full potential out of the machine without them.Hey all, I need advice! If you are going to switch tracks why not try the Ice Cobra 1.6 or the 1.25 Ice Ripper. These tracks are great for adding safety without the typical problems of regular studs, all while costing less.

You will not be disappointed. I put one on my 2020 and love it! Great on trails and in deep powder. I researched tracks for months before deciding on this one.
One another note. Cobras are one ply for the 137x15. I had a cobra on my Viper and liked it. Lugs were softer. The Hurricane seems to have more bite. The lugs are definitely sturdier. I wanted to avoid a 1 ply with the additional HP. I heard many good things on the Storm (2 ply) and the Ice Storm (1 Ply) but there seem to be an equal number of bad stories out there about tearing and lugs ripping off. I thought the 1.5 ski-doo Ice attack would work but it does not fit properly with the Yamacat drivers otherwise that would have been a good choice.
I am not studded but the lugs on the Hurricane have good meat if you want to put screws in for some safety.
