Last ride of the season and my low beam lights would not work. I was doing some troubleshooting and found these three blocks (see pic below) with obvious issues. There are three green lights going into this block. I am assuming this is the low beam wiring. From what I have read, can I simply cut out this block and wire them together? Would there be another reason this would blow again if I just patched the wires together? Everything is stock on the machine and the bulbs tested good on another machine.
Cut the block off and strip, twist and solder the wires together.
Did you test your hi/low switch?

I snipped off the block and patched them together. Both low and high beams work. Switch seems fine.

The more you investigate these ground blocks , the more trouble you might find.
As suggested on other posts, I hope to take many of them apart this summer and
clean and protect them.. For the ones I don't find , Intend to carry wire stripper and
Mar connectors for next winter in tool kit. Also considering carrying a knife and
extra wire with alligator clamps to create temporary new grounds .
Mine corroded and burnt the ground wire to head lights and of course I didn't look
here first and broke my relay trying to get it off.
