Do it at home.It's so easy.Back the sting off and it will give you about 3/4 of an inch free play with the spring take the clip out that holds the spring.Take the to bolts out of the shock and remove it.change spring then reinstall shock.Don't install the spring clip till the shock is in.That's the trick.
Took me about 15 min to change it.
Oh the sled has to be off the ground.
It's very easy to do by yourself.

Mighty, I understand what you are saying, but if I were one of the local dealers instead of looking at it that way, I would look at it as a chance to win a NEW customer, which is much harder than keeping an existing one.
