I ran 192 woody's 1.075 megabites with great results last season. Check with jts, he ran some pretty long stuff. Once again, keep the track adjusted to spec and you'll be fine

help with studs
I ran 1.25 studs last year on a one inch[9830 track].I add 3/16 to the tunnel protectors and it only nicked the heat shield which you should remove anyway.the sled launched like a bear.rx-1s need traction.

I added a 136 Hartman kit, but I've got 1.325" studs with the same driver and everything and a 1.25" track. You should be fine, just watch tolerances with the track tension.

If you want great bite and no tunnel protectors go with 1.175's. Lots of bite and no extra BS. I used Gold Diggers.

I ran a 9833 1.25 track last year, studded it with 144 1.325 woodys megabites.
There were some scratching in the heat shields under the pipes, (untill they fell out anyway). But there are no marks on the pipes.
This year I am running a 136" x 1" track with 1.325's

Mega-Bites
Damn! I just sold my 1.325 mega-bites to Boston RX-1 and now I wished I would have kept them. I'm running 1.075's with a fully clipped 1" lug Camo track and I can't see where I have anymore traction then I did with the OEM finger track. Getting the power to the ground is a big issue with these torquey 4strokes. So damn much track spin geesh!

stud length for stock track 03 shorty
Sledhead- I put in 144 Woody chisels(Tnut style) After adding Dalton clutch stuff, bent about 40-50 in half! Cut and replaced the bent ones and added more to total 192 - all in center belt. Woodys changed their recommendation from 144 to 192 due to big torque. Stud length is 1.200 and I have no scratching that I could see underneath. Took off the dalton setup and am trying Simon stage 2 for this year with the ecp filter/spring kit. No info to report as I have not run out in real world yet. Checkwith woodies on length of studs- I think the stud length may be different for say a 1.200 push thru style vs. a 1.200 tnut style. I used the tnut style just in case I wanted to ice drag this winter. Relatively easy to spin out the chisels and put in the pics. Not trying to confuse you on stud length comparison of push thru vs. tnut but if I recall the length is measured differently on each style. All I know for sure is the 1.200 tnut chisel bites hard and does not hit anything. Good luck and when this track hooks up make sure you're holding on tight.
