Need info on phazer fan

Just trying to get some info on the fan for the phazers with heat problems.
Please reply if you have info.

I don't have the yamaha fan, but I did get a small atv fan that has worked great. Check out www.absoluteradiator.com. They have a 4" fan that will work, or the 5.2" fan. I have the 5.2 and it fits snug. You'll have to remove the connector that comes on it, then you can just plug the 2 metal tabs into the stock fan plug on the sled and you're all set. Good way to save a few bucks at 55 or 60 depending on which one you get.

contact ur dealer. many have gotten the fan as an update. if no luck with ur dealer call yamaha customer service and try ur self. oh also if u have a standard phazer im not totaly sure but i dont think the have a plug for the fan. its a differnt wireing harness. only the gt and fx have the plug. also the mnt lt comes with a fan.

I just called my dealer last week and told them that the light came on 5 times during a 178 mile day, temp was between 20-35 degrees, trails were in perfect condition, just frozen with little loose snow. My dealer called 2 days later said they had the fan, bring it in and they would install it, gratis. I'd call your dealer.

I got the blower kit for my wifes phazer. After fitting it i dont think the light has come on once! Think it was around $170 which i think should have been covered by yamaha but all in all the fan works great.

I just had my dealer install one for me . I told dealer that the light came on a few times through towns and marginal snow!! they put it on for free N/C... love my dealer....

Yes , the fan was included with the updates from Yamaha before the start of this season.

At the dealership here we are putting them on free since Yamaha was paying for them. Also, change your coolant to all Yamacool 60/40 mix and bleed correctly. Yamaha said some units were shipped with wrong coolant mixture.
