No I left the original setup. I am running the track fairly loose and have not had an issue with Ratchiting.

Its a must if you get more traction unless you like racheting a lot
I have the 136 tracks usa with a 1.375 cobra.on the'10 rtx se. hooks up nicely but has some extra push in the corners.
