I need a snowmobile dolly for moving the sled from the garage to the front yard (get to the snow). I need one that can roll easily over my paving stone driveway and grass (to get into into the shed). I have the cheap one from Princess Auto (for you Canadians) but it doesn't roll very well.

What are you suggestions? Canadian suppliers would be great.

Interesting idea but I still need to move the sled sideways as well as forward/backwards in the garage.

I have the EZ move cart and it works great. They do make a big-wheel kit that really makes it an ATV of sled carts.

The thing I like about the EZ move other than it's not overly expensive is that it comes apart and I can hang it on the wall to get it out of the way. You can't do that with the big horseshoe movers.

I see the EZ move carts used on C-list and Hardcore sledder quite often if you don't want to pay new price for it.

Good luck!

^100% Agree...

I have an EZ move cart as well as the pneumatic tire kit, and it is a huge help moving the sled from garage to snow and back again. It does require a two people to move if on soft ground, but on gravel or any hard uneven surface, it's the cat's a$$.

http://www.suregripdollies.com/wp/ or google Sure Grip Doolies

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but I have them and they work excellent.

You can see them in my avatar they have 5 inch wheels for the skis, the wheel that goes under the track is a smaller wheel on a plate for the track to sit on.

x3 easymove cart with the big wheel kit. There is a distributor from Toronto but I can't find the website anymore.

I can actually drive down the driveway and up the trailer ramp with these. I am impressed. I am not sure about grass though.....might sink?? Never tried it.Frozen grass would be no problem. Oh ya, these won't work with mountain skiis, or real wide skiis.

7 inch skis are the widest ski. Its pretty tight fit with my 6.9 pilots.

I have a set of the SuperGrip Dollies and Made a dolly for under the track using 5" dia Castors. If the ground is frozen you can leave the track dolly out and just drive your sled to where ever. I do it all the time. In the summer I have both sets of dollies installed and tow it with my rider so I don't dig up the grass.

If you don't have studs you might want to bungee the track dolly thru the suspension so it won't spit out the back.

I might just buy some larger wheels and make my own. I went that route last year and it worked OK but could be better.

I'm not sure what you guy's have up in Canada but you should look at Harbor Freight and they have some very nice Castors 8" with Pneumatic tires. you could build a track dolly for about $50.00 and it would roll very nice

I have the same issue. My driveway is exposed agregate. When there is compact snow on the driveway the dolly wheels jam and won't turn. I also have about a 4ft incline over 50ft. I've tried everything other than ez move or horseshoe. I even built a drive on dolly with 10" pneumatic tires at the front and 3" swivel casters at the back but the swivels get jammed over compacted snow and it won't budge. I might try js jacks http://www.jsjacks.com/snowmobile-cart/snowmobile-cart/ Anyone have one?

This is the one I have. A bit inconvenient to put the large wheels on but it works well on my snow packed exposed ag driveway.
The only beef I have with it is that you can not push the sled sideways .
The plus is you can quickly check your skis and carbides or even do an oil change using this lift.
