Ok who has the best prices on oilite bushings for my 08 nytro. And do those "looser" bushings really work or am I better off getting the press in ones....Larry

My cheapest option was my local dealer. I live in Canada and to get anything shipped was either the same price or more. I like that they press in, gives me peace of mind.
I'd get the proper ones that need to be pressed in. I personally was concerned with how to get the press-in oil lights back out though, so I went with the Pioneer bushings which are made of some sort of polymer.

You are replacing your bushings because they are loose, why spend the money on a set that goes in loose. Get the GOOD ones. JMO....

Got some Oilites off Ebay, Powersports1 had them listed $77 I think.
'09 RTX has just over 1k miles on it but I wanted to replace the cheap OEM stuff before it got to bad.
Steering bushing were already crap too, Ulmer's went in.

I prefer Pioneer Performance bushings. They last as long as the oilite version and are cheaper and easier to install. If you are referring to the Barcode bushings that go in loose they only fit 2009 and newer a-arms.

I'm with Grizz on the pioneers. I've tried both(oilites, nylatrons) and really like the Nylatrons. Much easier to deal with.

I would go with the Nylatron bushings from pioneer perf. Olite bushings are for more high speed applications as it requires heat for them to release the oil that is in them. Believe me I know after replacing 5 of them in a stationary bike I did some research and replaced it with a nylatron and haven't ever replaced it again. I guess I just needed to pedal faster.
Our own custom bushings are less than a mm smaller than the stock bushings just to be clear. They will not work in the 08's as the upper arms were different to the 09 and up.
We have had no issues with them in our test sled 09 XTX.

Buy the good stuff and do it once. Go to the local dealer Atlantic Rec. Had the Oilites in mine since the 400 k mark and have 3000k on it now and the front end is still tight. I haven't tried pioneer performance one's from the sounds of it there worth a look too.Ok who has the best prices on oilite bushings for my 08 nytro. just got a email from a rider who bought our bushings in Europe. He said he used some aluminum foil tape instead of the loctite. He said it worked great.

Royal Distributing or Recreation Supply in Canada has the oil lite bushings. Spend $89 at Royal and get free shipping, Rec is usually $12 DHL shipping no matter how much you have. I get my stuff overnight with Rec as I am only 3 hrs away from them. Though none of these will work for the 08. 09-14 only.
