Took new Viper for a spin in the lawn. Shut it off all it wouldnt start. All it would do is click. This is what I found. Nut fell of starter on the positive side found the nut in the red cap also the cable clamp securing it wasn't bolted on either.2nd problem I found was three loose screws on gas tank. 3rd 4 bolts holding the front bumper on was loose. Not what I wanted in a new sled. Factory or dealer responsible?

I would think factory would be putting the starter and fuel pump in.

Really weird things to miss. Make sure you check everything. Really good.

Dealers responsibility to sell you a sled that is working. I would bring it back! (Unless it's a long drive?)

With the starter issues makes me wonder about a donor sled. If i call with the Vin # can they tell me what updates have been done?

Poor assembly line QC and crappy dealer PDI. I would start with the giving the dealer a few words.

This isn't a factory thing as they would have started it before it left the factory. I put this directly on the dealer. My guess is that the starter was pulled to replace a broken one. I have been wrong before, just ask my girlfriend.

I hear ya cannondale. i don't remove the tank that way. Your right though.

Thanks guys waiting to hear back from Dealer.
