Has anyone else noticed the new 146 " tipped rail " is actually just cut out from the 137" mark back? The back of the rail doesn't even have hyfax on it. It looks like a wheel added at the 137" mark and smaller diameter rear wheels.
I does not seem as though the rail is actually "tipped" like the old Nytro XTX
I am seeing things?

Yep, I noticed that. So what's the problem? Doesn't need hyfax back there as the track doesn't touch the rails at all. Wheels are smaller to keep them from touching the tunnel on full suspension compression. When you pull the back of the track up like this it makes it very efficient and will be a couple MPH faster than making the turn and pulling the track outta the snow more severely than being on the back wheels.
I used to grind the back wheels smaller and move the wheels higher on the rails and grind the hyfax down on the back of the rail on the drag sleds and speed runners to pull the studs outa the ice before it had to make the turn on the wheels. Pulling studs outta the ice or the track out of the hard pack on the rear wheels robs the HP. This is exactly the way to make better top speeds by picking up the track before it makes the corner on the wheels.
