So this F1100 chassis with the current Apex motor.....barely any lighter than the current sled.....will we have to go to arcticchat.com to discuss this chassis and a new TY forum for the motor??!??!!?!!
I wonder what will be faster? The F1100T or the VIPER 150hp?!!???? All things equal now!!! Just motor choices!!
Someone mentioned the end of Yamaha snowmobiles....I think this is the first step in Yamaha buying CAT!!!

I am confident that if they have already endured the expense of tooling the Thief River Falls facility and this experiment sells, there will likely be a buy out. It is just like Yamaha to walk before they run. They are conservative and test the waters time and time again.

There probably won't be a forum for the new viper, since this is TOTALLY Yamaha.com.

What makes you think it is 150 HP?
You know something we don't?
I have not seen weight or HP /HP class yet anywhere.

inside source was mistaken on the engine....but got the rest right...
No mention of weight, just kept using the term "superlightweight".
I can't see it being any lighter than the current Nytro...maybe 40lbs?

20 KG they are saying in Europe. Cant see it myself. Thats a lot less than the current 4 Stroke Cat I think. Time will tell.
Too bad on the Engine. 4 Banger would have been sweet.
Wonder if they cranked the 3 cyl up any in HP for this sled.
