there is a ton of stuff to read through here if you want to go crazy...start with the napa glasspack under tunnel exhaust system and a wildchild rider forward kit.

Best sounding exhaust I've heard.
Wildchild kit works if you don't mind to cut up your sled. Do a search.
Best done with a newer Apex seat and a modified tank cover for a rider forward total package.

First mod has to be an Apex seat (do a search there's lots of threads about how to do it). That will match nicely with your riser. It changes the whole sled for the better.

mbarclay - welcome to the site
When searching with the TY search feature you have to put the operator AND in between the words you are searching for. If you still can't find anything you may use Google, here's how I use Google to find stuff when TY search doesn't help me: Use advanced search in google, add ty4stroke.com as the domain to search in, add whatever you like in the search field and you will likely find what you're looking for.
BTW - would you mind filling in your location in your user profile.

hey i was looking at the hauck exhaust on their website which one do you have the regular one or the loud and how loud is it? like not any louder than a 2stroke with a silencer is it?Yamadog said:8. Hauck get-r-dun exhaust

loud!!!!!! but !!!!!!!!!! they sound cool but are a real problem. They are riveted together and come apart. They get hit by studs, rocks ice and fairy dust. I have had mine out several times and welded gack together. I also blew 2 motors in 2 yrs and found the pipe had come apart prior to the blow up - coincidence??????????
I guarantee when you pull up to a stop sign everyone will think your running a 250 hp braaap motor & you have a hard time not burping the throttle every chance you get.

Yeah I just don't know. I picked up an 05 RX 1 last friday night and I have another Hauck pipe I bought on ebay last season I pulled the rivets and welded it & I want to install it but I am wooried. The stock motor blew at 6500 I changed oil 2 times a season and filter each spring. the 2nd motor was Apex that I had hauck tear down and rebuild & put a 1100 cc crank in it and it made it 3 months and threw 2 rods. both times when I tore down the sled the pipe was apart at the front joint.
But the pipe sounds awesome. I sometimes let a buddy ride it up the trail and I just sit and listen.

yeah that really worries me good sound or not im probly gonna find a different exhaust. im not sure how a silencer could blow the motor my buddy has a R1 sportbike running just headers and midpipe with a tip on it so no muffler and has no problems for years now. i sold my 2 strokes to avoid blowing motors lol i had way to many problems with them in the last 2 years i want something reliable
do you know of any other exhaust that sounds good
