New Heavy Duty/High performance clutching for My Sidewinder this season

Just picked up my 18 50th Sidewinder after having The TAPP Primary and Pro 4 Secondary installed and set up for this season. I had it set up to run the Ultimax XS 825 belt by Timken. Belt fitment was excellent. Haven’t tried it out yet, but loading it on the trailer, it was super quiet(no rattling) and buttery smooth with a 3900 rpm engagement.

I also upgraded to the SS SM Hurricane tune bundle for this year. Can’t wait to try her out.

Got sick of the stock stuff having issues with my tunes, so just bit the bullet and said let me get some high quality/High performance clutching on this thing. It’s an investment...down the line they’ll come with me to the next machine.

Lol...billet is pretty for sure! When I go into a restaurant for lunch or dinner, I’ll take the side panel in with me so the Clutches can be seen lmao!

Was hoping to get up there around Thursday or Friday this week??? Is it worth the trip Glenn/any riding?

Primary spring that TAPP came with, + 1 rollers, clickers on 3 currently, Dalton 43/34 helix, Dalton black/purple secondary spring. Set up for Hurricane SS SM Tune bundle(270).

Very similar to what I set mine with up this fall. Slightly stiffer secondary spring, still the +2 rollers.
Any idea how much weight is in the rollers and arms? I had to empty my rollers and run the arms bare to get RPM with +2 rollers.
Did he suggest the +1 rollers or did you request them?

I’d have to look at the paper to be sure(don’t have it with me currently). I went with the + 1 rollers by request. It’s a lil strange to me/not completely familiar with how it all works quite yet. Wish I could tell you a bit more, but I’m not completely sure at the moment.
