Guys that might be interested in a upgrade to an existing turbo or as a kit. Can you show who might be interested in this. Powder Lites may build some sick 400hp kits or parts if there is enough interest.custom header mid mount large exhaust so on 400h.p. pump gas using meth injection for raising the fuel thresholld. It is possible . There will be nay sayers but it is going to be proven. Best part it will be trailable or atleast from the camp to the lake

apex mountain crracing 174
apex blower 136 for asphalt racing
osp drag race sled (apex engine based)
Will definitely need engine modifications.... (not only pistons/rods) to keep this soimewhat reliable.

I disagree at this point about serious engine mods for that h.p. but maybe I will find out that we were wrong and break parts. There has been 360ish done this week on a completely stock apex with a Powder Lites stage one kit. That sled has a 2 in. down pipe so I know there is more lewft on the table.

Now we're talking
I would be interested in a midmount conversion for my Mitsubishi 16T turbo.
I'm going with a REV or XP tank so I've got a lot of free space up front for a mid mount header. Would like to be able to use my Mitsubishi 16T from the MCX kit.

EDIT: XP tank does not fit with Apex seat, a REV tank does. The seat has to be modified tho.

Apex Powderlites Header Prototype
I have been playing for 2 days to see if i could change old header a little and this is it and it does fit!
Anyone who says they can copy or build this thing properly and want to build them call me!
I will see if my welder Heino is up to making a few if someone wants it.
4 into 2 into 1 at the turbo for best response.
Now double down pipe to match and some new tricks like stealing Kevin's down pipe and making it right! LOL
Why didn't someone make all this stuff right the first time!!
Because it's very hard to fit into sled and get at bolts etc.
This should be easyer to install.
Feedback guys and positive only! Maybe a nailbender or someone has better idea's then me after looking at this for 2 days i can't weld anymore.

THAT is THE header to beat.
Oh my, that is beautiful work Dave!
I notice you've brought the divider right up to the mounting flange on this one - nice!
Who is the poor bugger that got to polish it for the pic??!
When does it go to the dyno?

Apex header
Was me who polish it so i could take pictures to tease you guys alittle.
It doesn't take long if you know how.
I get the feeling most guys think i have a crew of people working for me.
I only have part time in summer and do most everything myself.
Even the website pictures and uploading and making up text is where i need good guys to start taking over.
If there is anything screwed up blame it on me.

Re: Apex header
I should have put a 'smiley face' at the end of my post - I know it was you that would have polished it. I also know that 98% of what comes out of your shop is from your hands. You do quality stuff Dave, I honestly don't know how you keep all the balls in the air...
