New MPI turbo installation Help

No I didn't need to make a change with the gems, But I immediately changed the wastegate to the quick spool one. Figured the new header would spool quicker so why not get the quick spool wastegate. I'm seriously concerning having my ecu flashed by evo to get the rev limiter raised. If you are running power commander pti I think you can raise yours. If you buy it from Ulmer he ca preload a map for you. That's what I would do if I was to do it over again. The gems works for me. I just don't want to not be able to adjust fuel if I need to. Pcommander you need a laptop or an android phone I do believe.

Thanks for this info. I'm gonna stick with the gems for now and really learn the system before I upgrade to the pcv pti. Maybe I'll do that next season? This will be my first turbo so I have plenty to learn.

if you go with a pcv pti then as far as gauges go you can run a wideband 2 and hook it to the power commander for AFR and get a POD300 and read boost right from your map sensor and afr from the wb2. i have this set up and love it its neat looking and you can data log with it really helping with tuning in clutching and the fuel map

Wow that sounds awesome. I'll start with the gems and work my way up to something more elaborate. I did get boost and afr gauges.

So I just purchased a big venom turbo kit. LON IS A VERY NICE GUY TO DEAL WITH! He is getting my kit all dialed in and sent it out today. Can't wait to try it out. I have heard nothing but great things form the big venom guys! [emoji3]

Just bought the same kit. Their customer service is top notch! I had the kit for the NA viper which was great and now I'm upgrading to the turbo version of the kit.
