I was just surfing around when I found these:

Does anybody have any thoughts or experience with these types of donuts? Some posts I read say that too hard a material would crack the pipes but these are made of a "copper alloy", copper being a fairly soft metal. I know that the graphite stuff used on the OEM's just eventually burn off. I had the same problem with my older Blazer. All that would be left is the mesh and I remember wishing then that there would be a brass or copper replacement so I didn't have to replace them every year.

Thoughts???

Have no experience with that donut, but sounds good to me. Doubtful that it would harm the stainless steel pipes. Pricey compared to the gaskets in the US, but if you never have to replace them again and remove the pain in the #*$&@ factor when doing so, nice!
