Dealer told me a guy in Kenora didn't tighten drain plug, lost all the oil motor went bang. Is that the one?

Any thoughts on the cause?

All we know is the con rod cap is sticking out the hole (see pic) and the bolts are nowhere to be seen. Con rod bolts either broke or were loose and backed out. Not allowed to dis-assemble it. Have to crate it and return it to You-Know-Who! They did give us a drop-in to replace it. Also, the debris punched a hole in the tunnel and exchanger and we have to replace that also! Not fun.

No, not the same one. Lots of oil etc... in unit. Mechanical failure.
