I am looking at buying a new 2007 or 2008 Apex GT or RTX. Does anyone have suggestions which way I should go? Currently have a Warrior and want to upgrade to a new sled.
Thanks for the help

Two questions:
#1 Why do you want to go back to a short track sled?
#2 What is your riding style?

In general, the GT is targeted towards the groom trailed rider as the shock package provides a very sweet ride. The RTX has a stiffer suspension and is geared at those that prefer jumps and ditch banging.

I am an aggresive trail rider and like to throw the sled around tight corners etc. I sometimes find the Warrior is a little harder controlling in the bushes etc but the long track is nice on long stretches of abandoned rail lines etc with the stutter bumps

You need to ride the 2006 or 2007 models in the Delta II chassis. The Attak is nothing like the Warrior, i.e. I ride aggresive and throw the sled around tight corners too. So do a lot of other guys on their Attak's like Nos-Pro, BountyHunter, Bver Fever, etc. Unless you itching to get a sled before the snow flies, you should try to ride the new sleds at one of the TY rides.

By the way, it would help if you completed your location in your profile.

I really like the way the attak feels versus my buddy's warrior. It reminds me of my 4 wheeler motocross days.
