I see several guys saying they rode it yet no one has given a good description of what it is....looks like, rides like and how much poop it has....or is this not suppose to be discussed yet?

Can a 3 cylinder sound like a 4 cyl if they use the same "muffler?"

I am still going to say 4cyl....I guess we will see.

Yes, the new Vector GT LTX with the efi sounds like the Apex with less of a drone just like was described by one of the riders. The Apex has a higher and louder drone.

just rode a 2010 vector ltx [friends rental] sounds nothing like my apex! straight up 4wheeler exhaust note. sounds like a sick snowmobile. that being said.. was probably the best trail sled i have ever ridden!

You need to ride a 2009 carbed vector and then listen to the 2010 Vector. It sounds exactly how I described it. The lower drone of an Apex. Not an exact match but a lot closer to an Apex than a carbed engine of the past. I had all three of them.

heres a thought maybe theres a v-4 under there they are building a 1700cc one for the v-max bike why cant they build a smaller diplacement on for a sled?

The water pump elbow was in the exact same position as the Apex so I'm pretty sure it's an in-line 4

Come on guys! If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck????? The 3 cyl. was designed to run at 8500 rpm to eliminate the gear reducer in the 4 cyl.
If these prototypes are spinning 10000-10500 at WOT and have 4 pipes they are a... 4 CYL!!!
This time of the year is so entertaining.
