Very strange to hear the WOT to idle sounds when it's just sitting there... but hey...It's going to keep all the tree huggers happy.

I don't think a v4 would be a good idea. Moves too much weight too far forward.

Your logic regarding engine speed and gear reduction is flawed. Could easily add gear reduction onto the 3-cyl and spin it faster. The 4-pipes thing does make sense though... of course on the proto, they could have put in a dummy pipe to throw everyone off.... lol.

Anyways, just to add my guess to the pot....

Yeah...sounds like it's a nice set up. I know I will want to ride one and try it. Who wouldn't? I bet this thing is going to be a dream to drive...

Very unlike Yamaha to allow pictures to be snapped and posted on the internet. Something tells me that is not it 100%.
Many times the OEMS will produce sleds with masked body parts or as hybirds of current models out on the
snow for testing on public grounds.

Heard from dealer it is the same motor with variable intake tuning,new exhaust and a few other tweaks. His rep did say it was quicker,lighter and faster than our current rides.
