07' Attak MPI S/C
I'm new here to the forums. Just got back into sleds and got an 08' Apex LTX. Rode it on a few trips and loved it. Never a 2 stroke again. Well last night I picked up a S/C 07' Attak GT. 26xx miles. $5950 (good deal?) Everything looked ok with. Alot of aftermarket parts. The kit he put on it is the MPI stage 1. He installed this back in 09'. So it has their fuel controller on it, but it's one before they called it a GEMS. He said he has the 10-12lbs Pulleys on it and has always ran the 50/50 mix as suggested by them. I was only able to do a few grass runs with it do to 0 snow here in northern indiana. It started up fine(cold), idles good, runs GREAT. No hesitations I fealt. I ride mainly trails and would like to tame this beast down some. I've read here that running that much boost is a no no. I don't think he shimmed the head. I want to eventually switch to the PCV system with autotune. But for now I want to get a BOV and I guess turn down the boost. I prefer not to blow this thing up if 10-12 is too much. So any suggestions on what I should/need to do to maximize this motors life. Off season will most likely be the shim and PCV. Thanks
Also, it is supposed to have Ulmers primary and secondary clutch kits. Starts to engage at 4500-5000. That normal?

I've had 3 s/c'd apexes and loved them. 7 lbs. Of boost and they will live a long time. Ulmer's clutch kits work great, I've used them on multiple sleds. I have a pc5 and an auto tune and a lcd200 screen I'd sell for 350.00 if you're interested, they work much better than the gems style controllers in my opinion. Happy riding to ya.

Is it the pti version?
Have O2 with it, or just the box?
It's not the pti and yes the sensor comes with the auto tune. The pc5 does have a map for the s/c'd apex but it is for a stage 2 with 725cc injectors. I'm pretty sure ulmer racing will sell you a map that will work for your needs. Is it the pti version?

$350 shipped?
Do I still need an ignition box, or is that built into the PCV now?
Yup, that's shipped. You would need the ignition module to be able to adjust timing.$350 shipped?
