So my dad just bought a 2010 nytro mtx. Hes getting older and liked the idea of the reliability and smoothness of the 4 stroke. So far he is happy with the sled but we have noticed that it has an extremely sensitive throttle compared to the 2 strokes. I think this is just a by-product of the torquey bottom end of a 4 stroke but wanted to be sure. For example it's very difficult to creep the sled forward at clutch engagement, it just wants to take off. Same thing in reverse. Is this normal? Thanks!

Yes that is normal, I didn't like it much myself especially loading on the trailer, cheap fix is to get a hold of Travis at barn of parts and order one of his soft start springs it will lower the rpm the primary clutch grabs at and make it way smoother, great product love mine:Rockon:

Welcome first time poster and welcome to the site :) I see you registered back in 2012. Can you please add your location?

I'm also new to this site, but just wanted to respond and let you know mine the same way, gets a little jumpy as well.

Get a clutch kit from Hartmann or one of the other vendors on this site, will make a big difference in overall clutch performance.
