Ever since I installed trix scratchers and running track loose with extrovert drivers on same set of sliders as the beginning of last year and not going to change them. They wear fast till about 1/8 inch and stay there.

I looked at these new slides in the Yamaha booth at the Novi Snow Show. they are trick for sure, but you can buy at least 3 sets of the standard slides for the same money. I cant believe that the new slides will last 3 times as long. I am getting over 2,500 miles on my standard Yamaha slides so I dont see the need. G.B.

But imo that is the beauty of them as you don't have to change them as often.
And, from what I have read here, some models aren't as hard on slides as others are.

What about the added benefit of better mileage and more speed due to less friction?

What about the added benefit of better mileage and more speed due to less friction? I agree with that statement. If they last three times as long, and cost three times as much, then I am good with that because that is two less times I have to change them especially if it is 10 degrees outside. I have a pair on order.
