Nice spare belt relocation mod for nytro (With Pics)

I didnt like the idea of having the belt all folded up in the bag up front (plus with my nitrous coming I needed to move the bag)

Anyways heres a simple mod that can be done to move the spare belt.

Whats needed :
-Belt holder clip from any older sled
-2 rivets

Tools :
-Drill
-Drill bit
-Rivet gun

Instuctions: (steps 1,2,6,9 and 11 are optional)

1)Buy beer
2)Open a beer
3)Remove plastic
4)Remove belt guard
5)Place belt clip in the center 11inches back from the front of the guard
6)Throw out empty beer and open another
7)Drill 2 holes through both clip and guard
8)Rivet clip and guard together
9)Again, throw out empty beer and open another
10)Install guard and plastic cover back on sled
11)Call your buds to show off your sled and finish the rest of the beer

To add to this. From what I have read in the forums here. You need to keep the clip more on the motor side of the guard or it may hit the plastic cover. Also, I am pretty sure you can order a clip for an 06 Apex to put on your Nytro.

Won't work for me because I have the MPI colder air intake which goes right on top of the belt guard. Where's a good place for my spare since the original spot is taken up with my supercharger oil tank?

Does anyone have any input on whether folding the belt up in that bag is actually bad for the belt or is it just hard to get to? I would like to just put it in there, however I am afraid that being folded up twice and tight that it will be very bad for the rubber and cords of the belt.
