NITRO FX with Ulmer 144 Rail kit- MORE PICS

I really like the look of the tunnel extensions on these sleds. Hope you like how it rides!
Keep us posted!!!

Wow that's looks awsome!
Combine that with a turbo and you would see the sled I'am aiming for :)

- Whats the total cost of the whole package? (Track, rails and tunnel)

Let us know how it works when its finished !

Great job!

The track is the 144 backcountry from
Tracks USA ......550 I believe
Rails from Allan Ulmer........300
Tunnel extension ........Allan Ulmer
Anti Ratchets .........Wahl Bros.........200 ( ouch )
But ya, I'm building the crossover sled Yamaha shoulda, wide front end , good shocks, great skid for weight transfer.I think I'm gonna like it. ( Loved it as a shorty)

I'm very interested in the finished product Topgun. This was a setup I was really considering for myself infact we recieved the last 2 backcountry tracks here in Ontario yesterday. I am a little disapointed in the front rail angle. I was hoping for a little less to improve trenching in the POW. Keep us posted on mannerism once you you it please.

What do ya think Andrew???? Compared to the skid relocation.

LOL........Well for myself I wanted the rail angle as I am a field racer so I need the hook but I am thinking about taking the straps up abit seeing I have more track for traction under me now. As far as the skid relocation, my friend did that to his................our last ride he figured the steering was abit tough. I do have to add a few wheels in the mix though to keep the hifax alive. Overall, I like the look alot better. I also picked up some mountain skis for deeper snow riding when it occurs. Taking the tunnel protectors out was the biggest gain for me. Not having that ice buildup because of them holding snow in is gonna be a big benifit.

We'll find out this coming up weekend but from the quick blasts I have had it looks like the front limiter is gonna have to come up a couple due to traction.
