Thanks!!! Yeah, once I get going on something, I like to get it finished!!! This is a good way to scratch the serious snow itch I have at the moment, the only problem is when it's done, then what do I do???? I have to pace myself a little bit.... lol...
This is very true. When I am bored I start detailing the sled over and over again haha.

Well, my slides finally came from Shadetree yesterday, so I got them cut to length and put on before the M10 went back under the Warrior. If anyone is interested, I found the Polaris profile that fits the M10. I ordered Shadetree part number 553-207, which is a Rider's Choice UHMW Graphite slide. I have been using these Rider's Choice UHMW slides for a few years now and I really like them!!! These slides are $11.99 each instead of $40 for a pair from FAST. Anyway, so I got the M10 installed to stay, and I'm really likin the looks of it!!! I have one question for all of you other guys out there with M10's, how much tight are you running your track?? I have just a bit over 1 1/2" of sag with no weight on the track. Is this too loose???
All I have left to do for now is rejet my carbs for the filters and get all of the components I need for the EVAC kit, and get it installed.
Back to the bulkhead project tonight.....yupee!!! I really like working on sleds, but man, this is a pain in the butt!!!

We better hurry up and get some snow, or this is a never-ending project!!! LOL!!! I finally got this thing put back together and apart it comes again!!! I have a gutted stock exhaust coming from w8n4snw that I am going to put in and see if I like it!!! I don't own anything with an untouched, stock exhaust, so why start with my sled??? I got everything torn down and the stock exhaust out, now I'm just waiting on the replacement to arrive!!! In the meantime, I got my parts from Kevin at Port for my carbs. I had to order 22.5 pilots and I put four new O-rings on, the ones by the main jets were getting pretty crappy. I got my EVAC routed and everything hooked back up. All I have left to do is get the carbs synced when I get a fuel tank and exhaust back in place and I'm good to go!!! I can't wait to hear this thing roar with a gutted exhaust and the filter kit installed!!! I will try to post a sound clip when it's all done!!!

Thanks!!! I suppose black or yellow prefilters would have been more appropriate, but red will work under the hood!!!

Yeah, most everything I own is black!!! It's just so sharp when it's clean!!! I have 3.5" Rox Risers on my Warrior.

Well, bad news for the gutted exhaust I got from w8n4snw....it is for an Apex!!!! For some strange reason it didn't even occur to me to ask and it never came up in our conversations....so I now have a gutted Apex exhaust I can't use if anyone is interested!!! haha!!! I still have the exhaust out of the '04 Warrior I parted out, so I think I will just gut it myself and give it a shot!!!

Well, I finally got er put back together!!! After finding out the gutted exhaust I got was for an Apex, not an RX, I ended up using the exhaust out of my parts sled and gutting it. I cut out the two solid center tubes and left everything else. I used a MIG welder and it actually worked out better than I had anticipated!!! I ended up running the wire at about 80 and about 12.5 volts. As long as I kept moving, I didn’t have any problems with blowing through. I shot it with a couple coats of some high temp spray paint and got it put back in. I get it fired up and WOW!!! What a rumble!! This thing sounds awesome!!! I got the carbs synched and played with the flipper some more!!! I would highly recommend this mod for anyone looking for a different, and only a bit louder sound out of their 4stroke. This sure beats a $500-$600 aftermarket pipe!!! I plan to go to an undertunnel dump in the next year or two, but I decided to go this route for this winter. I’m very happy with how everything came out and thanks to everyone on here that helped me along the way!!! I am done with everything I had planned for this year plus some, so I think I can safely say she’s back in one piece to stay this time!!! Come on SNOW!!!
