Posting for a friend he has team secondary clutch,
Here is the problem the secondary moves in and out about 3/8"ish . When the clutch is pulled to the outside the belt is straight but it still looks like the motor is angled towards the back of the ski.
Not sure if this is normal but when the primary is rotated it really pulls on the belt.
I'm thinking the secondary clutch needs to be shimmed and the engine needs to come back a bit and the motor straightened.

You should have a clutch alignment tool to set it up properly. That will also tell you if your motor is off. That is to much side to side movement there. 1/8th at most. You will need shims on one side for sure if not both sides. Did he buy this used or new . Only one side of the secondary moves when it goes through the cycle of closed to full open.

if it squeals the you might have to remove a washer from the 3 bolts on the back of secondary to adjust belt , never throw a way washers you may need later on.

Would be nice to see a video of the machine running up and the clutch engaging. How old and how many miles are on what kind of Dayco/Carlisle or OEM) belt?
There should be some washers in there to take the play out of the secondary. Look at a parts diagram. They come in several thicknesses I believe. I think the play on mine is like 1/16" max.

My clutch has about 8 shims altogether, some on each side. Is there some on that one?

Not sure how much a TEAM secondary is supposed to float. Any other TEAM owners able to chime in? Might want to contact them directly.APEX 06 said:Looks normal to me my team secondary has about the movement in it any belt issues.

Same on my sled. I agree that it looks like some washers from behind the secondary have been misplaced.
