There are no color markings on the old rod bearings and it should have markings. I have a choice between a few different types with yamaha. Its a 07 apex turbo with carrillio rods. What should I do now..

That's not uncommon. Most of the time, If the ink number on the rod is a 5 and the crank's marked 1's or 2's the color will be Blue. You can measure the thickness of your old bearing and I can tell you what it is. Plasticgage is your only other choice, crude at best but that's all you can do without the proper equipment for measuring clearences.

I was refering to stock rods with the ink number. Carrillo will generally work out the same as a stock rods however.
