Vice grips and a liberal amount of WD-40. Use an anti-sieze compound on the threads when you install the new screws.

checked that, its all good. The clamps are loose with lots of debre around them like the donuts gasket. the clamps move around so i'm assuming they are bad...going to try to get them off again here in a sec.

Got the screw loose setting on them now

hey i have the same problem on my apex(rearmount turbo). 5800km on it. it isnt the clutch. im not sure what it could be. the clamps connecting my midpipe to my header are tight and the seals are fine. if i stick my head under the rear of the tunnel it is very noisey at idle but as soon as you rev it over 3000rpms it goes away
