The addition of a fuel controller and or a BOV, is that an issue for the EFI Apex guy's only or are their problems with a S/C setup on a 04 Warrior?
Thanks for any info... not started my install yet...

Same here, I have ran the sled on low boost with no BOV needed. I just switched the pullies around and ran her on the stand. Still no problems with throttle chop when letting off the throttle. I report back if anything changes once I get it on the snow.

Jim- what are you planning on running for fuel?

I'm running 110/91/100LL. I'm running it 50% race, 40% prem with the 10% of 100LL for insurance. I can get the Av-Gas in limited quantities for free and want to try it straight but I'm afraid of detonation.

How many pounds of boost are you running? I doubt you will have detonation problems with straight 100. 50/50 110 & 91 is only 100.5

Ray, I'm running without a boost guage. MPI claims 10 lbs at 5000' elevation with the RPMs @ 9800. The boost will change depending on elevation and engine RPMs. I was seeing 9600 on the tach on the low boost setting so, I imagine it will be higher with the pullies switched.

If you convert 100 LL Av Gas over to the same ratings used for gasoline; it comes out to roughly 98.7. I don't know how much of a cusion MPI built in but I want to stay to the safe side of it. I might try a tank full after the first one of 110/91 and compare my readings on the guages.

I ran 2 gallons of c12, topped up with 'premium'
also on low boost. Mine ran rich, but I prefer safe to eeking out the last horse.
