I had someone stop by the other day with his phazer and we tried a different ecu still no hot grips but thumb warmer works like it should. tried a different set of bars and still same problem. I had someone tell me it sounds like a ground wire issue, has anyone else had this problem??? Thanks for any help/info that you may have.

If you want to pursue the ground thing there is info in the Phazer FAQs section ...ground block update, applies to your years.

sounds like a ground issue also to me, there was a ground block update for all 07-09 phazers. Mine had the update done but I've still ran into issues with grounds. On mine there is a plastic block where a bunch of grounds tie together by the oil tank, corrosion started inside the block and gave me a few issues. I pulled all the grounds out of the block and soldered them together. For me its was the cooling fan working intermittently but there are 6 or 8 other grounds in that block.
