Nuvi 1450lmt tracks snap to road

I used to have a 250w and it recorded tracks perfectly.
My new 1450lmt snaps the tracks to roads. anybody know how to turn this off?

I know there is a setting on my Nuvi 550 where I can change the setting from "On road or Off road", so it's likely on yours too. I believe the setting can be changed when you designate the type of travel you're doing, ie. biking, walking, by car, etc.
