So this weekend i hit a huge rock with the left side of the a arm, and its bent pretty bad so i need new a arms.
Will an 08 upper and lower work, or are they different on the 09's?
Also, of anyone has the upper and lower arms for sale please let me know.

does anyone know the difference in 08 and 09 front ends?? I heard something about the lower arms being the same but the upper is 10 mm shorter??

Why not just cross reference the part number on the Yamaha microfiches and see if they are the same ones. If not, then replace with proper ones.

The upper A-arm is different from the 09' to the 08'. If you were going to get an 09' you should probably get both sides. Also the bushings in the 09' are the same in both the upper and lower (they used the larger lower ones in the upper as well). If I remember correctly the 09' arms are shorter giving more camber, not a big deal but it was also leaned back or castered.

Called yamaha directly and they told me that the 08 arms will not even bolt up. I guess they changed a bunch of stuff on the 09's. So looks like i need 09 parts.
