I just bit the bullet and put $ down on a xtx. Now I have to decide what to spend my $600 on. Was wondering which skid plate to put on, and if I go with the larger one with the different grab bar can I still use the cover or not.
Also, does anyone have pics of the a-arm protectors on the sled and can these be used with either skid plate?
I will be putting on a windshield that actually does something, do I need the medium or tall one?
Liked the new handguard add-ons, so probably will go with them also, depends on whether yammi gets the warmers putting out viper heat by next year.
Definitely will want some type of tunnel bag and exhaust turnout. Any other options I should be looking at?
I hope I like this sled as much as I like my Attak, going to miss that 4 cyl, that is if I sell it. Don't tell my wife I said that.

See if your dealer can give you a copy of the '08 Snowmobile Accessories & Apparel catalog. On the cover is a picture of a Nytro and it has every accessory offered by Yamaha in '08. It is very helpful. I do not believe that the '09 accessory catalog is out yet.

I think you're going to like this tripple, its pretty mean. Didn't know there was a second skid plate, only knew of one, and people were having trouble with it. I know most people will want to add a windshield, and new front "bumper". Also, if you feel like I do that you need some storage, I have the saddle bags and I'm pretty happy with them (see pic below).

I HATE it that the accessory book is not out yet, but were supposed to have $600 to spend on stuf!

That's why I jsut had them take another $600 of the cost of my snow checked RTX SE. Did not know what to put in the order for with parts.
