brutis from your pic it looks like my whal bros drivers i had. look at the next cog in line see as it comes in the window that it is no touching the the track and the more cogs go around the further back in the window the cog is there for when the last cog that is actually driving the track comes around and out there is no more cogs driving the track causing in my opinion you shaft to spin faster until you hit resistance and so on.
I agree that the drivers were the problem. Same scenerio for me when I changed the drivers.
