Nytro Coolant

What is the recommended coolant you guys run? I know the service manual says 60/40 mix. Does 50/50 hurt? Ride in Northwoods or the Irons mostly. Only worry is how low temps get at night so can't run Ice coolant.

I ran 50/50 in mine and never had any problems.

50/50 good to around -34 DegF 60/40 good to around -60 DegF I use the recommended 60/40 here in New Hampshire

I bought the Yamacool premix... Has aluminum additives like blue MB or BMWs use I believe... Some run regular antifreeze but we change or top off so infrequently I figure spring for the Yamaha product so no worries.

Flushed my Nytro coolant out last fall. Refilled with Honda HP Coolant. Have used that 50/50 mix in a my KTM dirtbikes and Yammie sxs for yrs. Last yr was the first yr my Nytro never threw the temp light....in 7 yrs!!

Very good, mine flashed the hot light a few times last year. Can you take a pic of the bottle front and back?

Keep in mind that I completely flushed system with bottled, distilled water, added coolant, then burped system.
