Anyone modify one to fit? May try this. Viper is much louder than sidewinder and thinking that Japan designed muffler from nytro would yield a nicer quieter tone.

sounds like a real butcher job to me. I don't think it will be any quieter and then you'll have to deal with ice issues under tunnel and the extra weight it brings. Then you lose storage behind the seat unless you do exhaust turnouts, which makes storage awkward.

Looking to simply modify nytro muffler to fit under hood in place of cat muffler.

- Yamaha sr viper 15 ltx dx, mpi 190 turbo, straight line header, 38" mtx front end, mtx steering, mtx seat, xtx 141" skid and 2.25" power claw track
2019 sidewinder xtx le, sleeping for now
Put a turbo on it, that'll quite it down
I would think it would be quiet and have never heard of a stock Nytro or Phazer Muffler blowing out. Only question is will it last being so much closer to heat of exhaust.
