i have an 09 nytro rtx and over the weekend I was riding, a shock must have blown out. One side sits lower than the other, so for the rest of my trip my sled was bottoming the front left shock out, I am not impressed with this. I am wondering if the shocks should be rebuilt, or if I should sell them and change them gytr clickers. Thanks!

Depends on your riding style, I have a 2013 nytro with the black coil over shocks that came stock with the sled, I bought a pair of fox float x shocks thinking they were better for trail riding and I was totally wrong, did a 2200km northern Ontario ride a few weeks ago and I wished I had brought my original shocks with me, for trail riding you can't beat the gytr's or any coil over for a plush ride, the fox shocks just don't give that plushness as a coil over does... I'm looking now for a set of gytr's just to have the rebound and compression adjustments...

Then go with gytr's if you can and sell the fox float x shocks, you won't regret it... I had my fox float x down to 50 psi and I still couldn't get the front end to be stable at high speeds over bumps as I can with the coil overs that came with the 2013 nytro

You can rebuild the floats, but they will never work that well.

Just sell them and buy a set of coil shocks. You will be much happier. I made the switch this year, went from float 2s to some fox coil overs. Night and day difference.

Yup those are the fox float X shocks, you will be better off getting coil over shocks for trail riding...

I have two good sets of Gytr piggyback shocks if anyone is looking for a set.
