Just tried to start my nytro and it would not catch but the battery / starter sounded very weak. So I charged the battery and nothing it just spins. I pulled the plugs and they are soaked in gas. Can this be because the battery was so drained and I attempted to start it 5-6 times ? So now I have the plugs out and dried off with good spark on all three so I know it's not a fuel relay or starter issue or spark. What should I do just re install the plugs and try it now with a fully charged battery ? Would the oil need to be drained ?

Dont think you need to change the oil but brand new plugs will help alot. You could try an reuse the old plugs but they maybe not work. Depends on how flooded it really is. And a fully charged battery.

You didn't say if this was the first start of the season, but if so and battery was low could have been the issue. Did you treat your gas and run it thru machine prior to putting up for summer? Put some fresh gas and new plugs in her and give it another try. I treat all my gas (snowmobile, chainsaw, bike, etc.)with Yamahas FUEL MED RX. everything starts right up after sitting for months its great stuff and I highly recommend this stuff to all my friends.

Thanks guys , yesterday was my first startup on that battery of the year because the last two weeks I've been installing a mpi 180 supercharger kit. But I had the sled running last night for just 4-5 mins. The gas in the lines is old gas also. I filled it with new gas today and charged the battery. So my guess is by doing the start and stops listed in the MPI instructions last night after my install was complete I drained the battery and today it was so weak it wasn't turning enough and just dumped the plugs full of gas. I'll leave the plugs out for overnight to let the plug holes dry. May I add its Minus 34 temps here today. Thanks again

Pull the dipstick and smell for gas in the oil. It might be compounding the problem. Unplug the fuel pump or pull its relay and spin the engine with the plugs off and throttle open. Let it sit a good long while. New plugs would be the best but as long as the old ones are clean and dry, it should be good.

Cleaned and dried the plugs today with a fully charged battery and it fired right up. I think it was mainly the old gas from last season. the sled almost instantly began to run smoother and cleaner within seconds. may I add I only drove 2-3 kms on the new supercharger and WOW I love the new added horses of this 180 kit.
