If someone wants an 05 vector er with nytro ergos, there will be an XTX in my trailer in the fall, unfortunately it will be for the wife.... (but i can still ride it)

I am seriously considering the XTX (of course modified in the same way as my current RTX).
According to my experience, there is no doubt that you can build a better trail sled with better ride quality when you go longer than 121".
Or maybe a completely different rear suspension in my current RTX...?

I will be snowchecking the XTX this spring unless they come out with a more HP'ed phazer.
Just have to wait until the 13th to see what they come out with.

Here's some things I would want on this sled from the factory:
remote rezzie shocks all around
better skis...like USI Triple threats
10 gal gas tank
lighter exhaust or side exhaust
ability to add jerry can to back of seat
big gauges to read
tall riser and straight bars with built in hooks
1.75" lug track fully punched using extro drivers
optional super charger for pump gas to pump out about 175 hp on 91 octane
Other items I would add:
skid plate
front brush gaurd
tunnel/foot braces
taller seat with storage pocket
bigger windshield

I am considering an XTX, but it will take a test ride and a large leap of faith to buy one after the RTX experience. It was set up so poorly in the beginning, and has been a weekly project to get the sled to handle correctly. A broken spindle, broken center shock, no handwarmers...on and on...durability issues.
The Ski Doo 1200 is getting good reviews too.

This is an interesting sled and I may very well order one this year or at least in 1-3 yrs.
I have the 08 RTX already and may change over the shocks or just make the XTX into a RTX and have 2 similar setups except one longtracked.
I bought land in the snowbelt area so I should have a Yamaha XTX type sled eventually.
Ulmer recently said for those wishing to longtrack their short track sleds he would have his extended rails machined to be the same as the XTX tip up angle instead of the 2 degree angle if the masses wanted this as an option.
