Nytro xtx wont roll over

Hey guys hope some one can help with my problem, I have a 2009 nytro xtx it is my sons sled went out last night and had no response from starter when I turned the key to start! checked my battery connections, solenoid connections, nothing then I had a code come up #12 which is crank sensor, so I pulled inside heated garage and after half hour inside it started up and the code went away! any thoughts?

Next time that happens, hold your thumb on relay to melt frozen moisture in it. Or drag it into your garage to thaw. Lots of info here on that. Search.
