Alright guys it has been a long weekend

I started out on a yfz 450 seat but i did not like the outcome of it, so i went with the stock seat and cut it down much like a boss seat, and then made a fiberglass molding around the back of the seat to cover up all the staples, the seat is not done yet but she is getting close.

I also made a different steering stem relocation so i can stand up finally! I have the muffin works 6 inch risers but they are coming back from an update gade-thrasher had to do because i had problems with the pivot actually moving back and forth, He has great customer service and is a great guy to deal with, good looking bar risers.

With the steering stem location now i had a problem with the gas tank cover and hood bolting on so i had to cut some of both of them so they could fit around the steering stem and fit all of the wire and cables etc. . So after that was done i bolted it on and i did not like the looks of the gas tank cover where the stock steering stem location hole was. so i had to fiberglass that in and do some body-filler on it, it looks great!

Also in the back where the stock muffler sat i made a molding of fiberglass around it tonight so it wont look so "junk" in the back, just waiting for that to dry overnight and sand tomorrow, add body-filler etc.

O and by the way Yamaha blue is a pain in the a$$ to get a paint code to come up. Went to my local paint shop and they cant match it up, so im going to go with the closest blue that is possible.

Last week i made the exhaust

Check it out, i hope you like....

Here are the pics, enjoy!

Great work. Did you make a fibre glass cover for the rear of the sled? You're sled is a one off, I have never seen a seat done that way before. Keep us updated on how it rides :-)

Hey thanks rxrider, i was acually just looking at your sled. That thing is going to be nasty. How much boost? I thought i read 10 but not shure. Yes i made that fiberglass cover and same with the cover for the back of the seat.

I will start out at maybe as low as 10 lbs. I ran it at 16 lbs all last season with the MCXpress kit on board. Words has it I will get much more power lbs for lbs with the new front mount turbo parts installed. I will go up to 14-15 when I have dialed in the carbs and stuff. Gotta find out what she can take without going into deto.

I have some seat cutting and fiber glass molding to do to fit the Apex seat to the REV gas tank, fiber glass is sure easy to shape and work with, in a well ventilated area that is.
