RS Rage with Apex seat Mod and more.....

That will look real nice when you get it done. Splicing the harness wires to move the connectors is not a bad job but a little tedious. The results are worth it and much cheaper than buying new parts from the dealer.

Thanks Mike. It is good to see that you are still around. I decided on wanted to take on this mod before I summerize my sled so I can make sure I didnt mess up the wiring. G.B.

I finished extending the wiring last weekend. I am down to starting the sled to make sure everything works and then bundling and zip tying the wiring under the hood. I am pretty happy how it all turned out.

I think I am done with mods for now. I wouldn't mind adding a clutch kit and HID lamps in the future.

G.B.

Very nice! The risers and pad look good!

Thanks Mike. When you extended your wiring, did you just loop or bundle the wires were my wires are laying right now? As long as I keep the wires 4 - 5" above the motor I think they should be fine. It should be no different than the factory wiring for the head lamp. Thanks, G.B.

I actually ordered the rubber pouch type connecter cover that came on the RS Nytro. It fastens around the plugs and connectors and I zip tied it to a support. Either way you should be good to go.

I am curious about the rubber wiring pouch. I cant seem to find on the Yamaha micro-fiche. Can you point it out to me? Thanks, G.B.

That is strange. I can't find it anywhere either. Maybe not available anymore? Been a few years since I got mine.

Is it item #12 on this page? YAMAHA, RS90NW - ELECTRICAL 2. Brett

Yes, I think it is!

Cool, I might consider buying that cover. It is only $9 and it would add some more protection to the wires and connectors. Thanks for your help! Brett

Yep that's it. I checked under my hood to look at mine. Glad I could help Brett.

Youre the best Mike! I think I owe you a couple beers for sure. Thanks, Brett
