Wondering which I should get first? Drive mostly trail sitting down and realize that either would be a huge improvement over stock. Occasionally I go off trail so I am going to go with 6.9 pilots and then I will have better flotation for off trail and have a better handling ski (if I get skis). I realize every person riding style is different but what does everyone think I should get first am unable to decide, need your opionions.

I would say OFT relocator for sure. What carbides do you currently have (or going to put on) on the stock ski's now? If your not riding really aggressive the dually carbides work fine on the stock ski's.

The entire machine is stock (including runners).

I'd skip the ski's (for now at least)...get a set of dually runners and the OFT relocator (Ulmer Racing '605-387-2833' has one left...If I were you I would call him right now b/c the OFT's can be hard to find).

I would definitely add the relocate kit first. I think it's maybe the best mod I've done on my Nytro. No matter how good the skis are if you don't have the proper steering geometry you'll never get the most out of them. I was skeptical and resisted making the change. I really didn't believe it would make enough difference to justify the money so I made my own relocate kit and was totally surprised how a small change could make the steering more comfortable and controllable. It's Definitely the best mod for the money.

That is what I am worried about. Glad to hear that someone else who got the riser block was wondering the same thing. When you are on a budget for this season you want to pick a mod that you will get the most for your money.

I would put my money into an OFT Relocater!

From the description of your riding style, I'd recommend skis. The OFT relocator was orginally designed for stand-up mountain riding. It works nicely for stand-up ditch banging as well. I believe the XTX comes with the standard 5" wide skis that are too narrow for off-trail riding. They do not float and knife in making a heavy sled feel even heavier. I'd go with the Pilot skis. People seem to like them on a Yamaha and they are much wider than your stock skis.

are you people crazy? I have both skis and the relocator, and with that said,
I'd do skis before the relocator anyday.
the skis add flotation, (usually) eliminate darting, and make the sled actually turn like it should.
the relocator although a GREAT product only changes ergonomics. doesnt effect the machines actual steering capability at all.
so if i had to pick one, id take my skis.

Skis first. Oft second. I can stand where the steering is, but cant stand the terrible stock skis.

I am running the stock skis and i think they are great and i ride very aggressive, granted i have a Zbroz racing +1 43" A-arm kit, and have 9" shaper bars. To me the OFT relocator is an amazing improvement to me over the "hit you in the knees" stock geometry.
Ski's are on the "when i have a sh^t ton of money" mods list as i ride mostly trails!

Skies first. You will end up doing both but having the confidence that the sled will turn is The way to go. To me it doesn't matter how good I feels to turn the bars if the sled won't go where you turn them.
