Ok. Please someone explain this to me. Im 240 lbs and have an 06 gt with electric ohlins and it has the big boy spring installed. So iv got my compression down but my rebound confuses me. So if my rebound ejects me out of my seat do i need to go in on the rebound knob or out. Clockwise or counterclockwise to be a soft rebound instead of an ejection seat.

Screw it out to have less rebound.

So 30 clicks out for the least amount of rebound power/strength?

If at 30 clicks out and it still throws me off do i then loosen off the preload to help?
If you are getting kicked off the seat and you have the rebound all the way out that is CCW you have to turn the black knob CW to get more rebound force in the shock. With the knob turned all the way out CCW you have no resistance to the spring trying to fully extend. With the knob turned all the way CW until it stops you have max rebound which slows the spring from extending the shock. The problem is with the big boy spring you might have to use more rebound force to slow the shock action down. Just beware you can put so much rebound in that the shock will pack-up. The compression adjuster helps control the speed the shock compresses. Rebound slows the shock on extension. I hope I didn't confuse you.

It is easy to check turn the knob all the way in CW and take it for a ride. I have an 07 attack GT and when new it would hit me in the butt all the time. The stock shock and spring combo needed some work I had Hygear revalve and install their dual rate spring. That made a huge difference.

If you can't control rebound with big boy spring your spring may be too heavy. Rider weight counters spring rebound too. There are many different big boy rates. Do you know which one you have?

i dont know off hand but i will check tomorrow. All i can get you is the number on the spring. I have no idea how to find out what that # represents
Clockwise=Slow rebound/harder compression
CounterClockwise=Faster rebound/softer compression.
You need to go clockwise to stop the kicking but just far enough to stop it. No more.
