Oil and Filter?

Is is OK to run Mobile 1 Full Synthetic in my RX 1's? If so, what weight? 5w30?

What about a Fram PH9715 filter instead of the Yamaha filter?

All opinions and idea's will be welcome!

I run the napa 1358 filter and I think that is the same as the Fram. No issues either way.

Oil I was going to run 0w30 mobile 1 synthetic but not sure yet.

Amsoil, Amsoil,......did I mention AMSOIL.

Both oil and filter. Been using this stuff along time now and love it.

i run amsoil 0w-40 formula four-stroke it has a broader viscosity range than mobil! better cold weather flow and better warm temp. protection! it has an anti-rust agent for those off months when the sled is in storage, dispersent/detergent additives that will help neutralize high acid levels and combustion by products which are prone to smaller engines.also, has anti-foaming agents!
the 0W rating will guarentee a -60 degree pour point! which is going to mean easy cranking on those cold mornings!
of course i am kind of partial! lol.....any more questions feel free to ask!

did i mention amsoils oil filters? lol.... 98.7%$ efficiency at 15 microns. thats the most efficient on the market today!

I Have been running Mobil 1 0-40 and yamaha filter with good luck.

Somebody PM a price for the Amsoil filter and oil for a 2003 RX-1 Mtn. I might try if the price is reasonable.

I think I payed something like 8 bucks, maybe 10 for my Amsoil filter for my Attak.
