OIL CHANGE QUESTION ??

I HAVE A 2006 APEX GT ,5500 MILES , ONLY RAN THE SLED AROUND 1000 MILES LAST SEASON ,HAD IT FULLY SERVICED LAST SEASON ,,QUESTION IS DO I SPEND THE MONEY NOW AND CHANGE THE OIL OR DRIVE IT OR CHANGE THE FILTER ONLY ??? WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE THINK ????

I would just change the oil, only because of possible moisture. Do filter and oil at the end of the season. Its all cheap insurance.

thats what i was thinking also ...buddy off mine told me i was nuts for changing it ...waste my money ...

change oil only yamaha only recomends filter change every i dont remember the miles but its allot look at your oweners manual. definetly change oil for sure it gets acidic from the aluminum parts in the engine just from being in the sled. i do filter every other year and still dont get the miles required for normal yamaha recomened service entervals

I change filter every other year, recommended every 12000mi I do believe.

I would change just the oil.Filter will be good for awhile
