About to do an oil change on my sled. What kind of oil is everyone using???
I was going to use Mobile 1 full Synthetic..
Not agiasnt using really good expensive oil either... ANY suggestions?

Amsoil or lucus is all I run in the sleds. It is similar in cost to factory oil

Amsoil for me. Ran it on my nytro now on my viper.

Redline 0-20 in my Apex for 7 years and never missed a beat. I will be using the same stuff in my Nytro when I do my first oil change.

What about good old 0-40 Yamalube full synthetic? Seems like the logical choice.

This just my observation but yamalube always seemed dirtier when it came time to change it.

May have found a cleaner/ better way to drian oil in the oil tank by exhaust.

I put in the Cat oil since my dealer didn't have a kit and the Cat dealer had one in stock.Or Cat 0-40 full synthetic kit for $ 18.00 less than Yamaha 0-30 semi synthetic kit, and should be the same oil.

Most likely same oil just rebranded, not even rebranded filter.
At any rate much better option than automotive oil.
