Just noiticed today a couple of oil drips on my garage floor, took of belly pans and there is a small amount of oil in the pan? The oil filter is fine and looks like it might be running down from front of engine.
I know the oil level was a bit on the high side could this be blow by and if it was were would it be coming from?

it leaks out of the airbox and thats the only place it can go.

Mine was like this too.. After my Cooke trip. It was on its side a couple times...

was not side but did have it leaned right over boon docking. I know it was above the full line when I checked. Are you supposed to check right after you shut it off? And do not screw in right?
Sorry new to the Nytro, used to just filling the oil jug..lol

Also took apart air box, foam filter was absolutely full of crap and you could feel the oil in it, looks like previous owner did not clean it in a while.

oil

run till tank is hot to touch, idle for a couple min, then check with not screwed in. fill to full.

If you never want to see oil on the floor again this is a must for ya all!!

It's the Jacobson roll over valve. Plug and play and a must for any boondocker or backyard mechanic

If you ride hard or jump or boondock rolling on its side run oil between high and lownot scewed in then it wont leak in much or very little thats how i run mine and i got 5800 miles on it that way

Thanks seems to be good now that I droped it to the proper level. For $ 182.00 that roll over valve seems like a great idea, makes you wonder why Yamaha does not do this?

Well I guess if they built the perfect machine their dealers would starve!!lol
